Martin Gut collected such stories with a microphone and a recording device. In the "house of scent" you will hear a young man narrating the scent of his first great love, an hommage to a woman, a woman with perfume.
"The scent of grandparents` livingroom" may be found as well as the "scent of the first great love" in the form of objects. It is a closed jar containing an old book, a part of an old watch, silver jewellery, eau de toilett and a saintly image.
There are no actual scents in the "house of scent", but the objects in the jar evoke certain emotions coupled with a particular scent. All of a sudden, just for a short moment, I feel transported back into my Grandmother`s livingroom who has passed away a long time ago.
