Castle in the Sky

There it lies,
the chain that held the castle in the sky
and which once was the stairway to its door.

The anchor did what it promised,
until the chain eventually broke.

Now it is stuck,
the anchor that held the castle in the sky
once rooted and giving rise to a feeling.
